 Eight sturdy vacation cottages were constructed in a tropical setting as rugged and individual as the patrons they beckoned. The 1920s drawbridge to Lido/St. Armands (with a connection mainland causeway) helped define “getting away from it all.” In fact, a few of the regulars recall the Winter of ‘48, when the tradition began on Longboat Key.
 All cottages have fully equipped kitchens, separate bedrooms and private outside sitting areas with picnic tables, BBQ’s and umbrellas. The Rolling Waves beach cottages offers a unique setting where guests can experience a little of the past while enjoying all the sophisticated delights Longboat Key has to offer.
