“Pup culture with stunning and glamorous full color photos, Diva Dogs sheds light on the ultimate Diva lifestyle for four legged members of high society” What Inspired Jo Jo to Write "Diva Dogs"...
"It all started in October 2005, when a friend called from Chicago to inform me the only Halloween parties that she was invited to were doggie parties. This took me by surprise, as I had never heard of doggie parties. My friend explained that “doggie parties are “hot” in Chicago where people dress their dogs in costume and parade them around the park.” She suggested that I add doggie parties to my event styling list.
My first thought was “I don’t think so,” but after considerable thought and research, I discovered there is a huge market, not only in doggie parties, but also in fashion, grooming, and pampering. It was the canine couture that got my attention and prompted me to combine my experience as a fashion designer, stylist, and writer and create the first style book for dogs.
As a marketing tool for the book, I created America’s Top Dog Model ® Contest on my web site: Welcome to America's Top Dog Model ® Contest
Each year the contest follows a different theme and the winners are featured in a national calendar. Many of America’s Top Dog Model ® winners are also featured in my book Diva Dogs hot off the press September 9, 2008.
I hope you enjoy Diva Dogs. And while out on tour, I would love to see you.
Happy Reading...Dahling!"

Franklin family’s dogs taken by animal officer, placed with new owners
FRANKLIN, Maine — Last fall, the Warren family had two Golden Retrievers, Bella and Jake, that were considered integral members of a household which includes four young children. Now the dogs have been placed with a new owner somewhere in New England after they took off from the Warrens’ yard in early November and failed to return. |
